Did you see Lunardi's early Bracketology? He had IU as a 2 seed.

Being #1 is nice and all and honestly it used to be a big deal to me to see us in that spot (preseason or otherwise), but this season really hardened me on rankings and accolades. We had the best season in 39 years- ranked #1 the whole way. In the end none of the mattered or will hardly even be remembered by most outside of BBN. The whole season is the tournament. It almost makes me hate the NCAA Tourney now, because of what it is. The greatest season of most our lifetimes was basically rendered meaningless because of it.

Lunardi said we are #1 irregardless of who stays and who goes. His computer models all point to a #1 seed in the east

I would have this top 5:

1. UNC- everyone back and the NCAA doesn't care if they go to class or not.
2. UVA- everyone back, including a healthy Anderson.
3. Maryland- most everyone back, plus add in Stone.
4. UK- Ulis back and talent around him.
5. KU- Selden back and probably add another stud or two.

Google Coach Cal. He's had pretty good success over the 5 years with the team changing every year.

Losing too many players effects MOST schools, and UK IS NOT in that group.

Looks like he's probasketballfan. Must be it.

IF UK keeps Booker, Johnson, Poy, and lee and adds Skal, Briscoe, Zimmerman, and Newman, then UK is easily preseason #1
