We are headed toward the worst season in recent history and are not going to make the NCAA tourney. One would think at least we will have everyone return and finally have a mature, experienced team next season. BBN heads are going to explode when we have a terrible season then still lose multiple players to the draft. I think we lose Sarr, Boston, Clarke, Jackson, and Brooks no matter how bad we finish to draft or overseas play no matter how bad we finish. Always have potential to lose one or more to transfer as well.

Don’t forget Fletcher and maybe Allen cuz I know I’d sure as hell transfer if I were either of those guys.
I normally want most of the players to return for another year. Frankly, it won’t bother me if some these guys are gone after the season.

Right now there is not a player on the UK team that is ready for the NBA much less overseas. SAD

I think you forget (or never realized) how bad Chinese league basketball is. Bad NBA players go over there and put up numerous 40-50 point games.

Duke will hire someone from Ks coaching tree and it won’t be Wright. It will be Scheyer, Brey, or Stevens and the last concerns me the most. Not if they get Stevens. We all have always assumed (hoped lol) that Duke falls off the map after K but he has an extensive coaching tree and if they get a good one, they could stay at the top. That’s fine as long as we do as well. But how confident is anyone in the fan base that Mitch is capable or competent to make a great hire after Cal? The talent is out there but he wudnt know talent if it sat on his face and wiggled....Duke doesn’t have that obstacle lol
If Cal quits I would like to see us get someone totally unexpected, preferably young, and with some unique and possibly innovative ideas on basketball, especially offense. It would be nice to be on the cutting edge again. Rupp was that way

Cal makes about $7 million after taxes. Divide that by 4.6 Kentucky residents and each person should get $1.52 as a refund for wasting our time.
Maybe we can get our team to kneel again and that will bring them closer together and start playing together.

I honestly think we're seeing the end of days for UK Basketball (really for all college basketball), regardless of whether Cal stays or leaves. And it saddens me.
This. Self is much more consistent in the regular season. Cal had him beat as far as tourney success the first half of his tenure but Cal is becoming 10 loss Tubby and flaming out in the tourney every year at/before the E8.
The sooner we all make the effort to move this board away from politics the better we all, the team included, will be. I personally don’t give a rats *** who’s in the White House, Congress, Dog Catcher. Phuck all that noise that divides us.
