Just finished watching. Could Arsenal be more lost as a club? Just 5 years removed from something like 20 consecutive Champions League seasons playing a club that hasn’t been in the top flight in 75 years and Brentford dominated them. Wenger definitely declined towards the end, but I wonder if all the fans who wanted him gone are having second thoughts.

Arsenal was awful except for Tierney who was fantastic coming down the left wing. I will definitely have him on my team when Arsenal have a nice run of easy games.

These things happen. I was almost an absentee league admin last season. I set up the league and invited folks when asked but otherwise I didn’t pay much attention to the fantasy league last year.

I’ll see about doing better this go around.

Brentford have played in the "Premier League" before. Don't buy into that nonsense that it didn't begin till the top flight split off from the rest. That's like Ole Miss fans using only the stats after the Golden Egg was created. Brentford last played in the top flight in 1948.

Two of my teams played each other today. My main one won, giving Norwich the usual business. They will go straight back down, as usual. My other one is Crystal Palace. I was on the road all day. I listed to the Man U game, the Everton game, and Liverpool.

It was only Norwich, but I can tell you the defense looks a lot better with Van Dyke & Matip back there. Becker was only tested once late, but he came up with 3 incredible saves in abut 5 seconds.

Yeah, I expected that from Liverpool. Mo Salah made my fantasy team look respectable today.
