Then how does a team like Hayesville in 1A not get in when they beat Rosman last night? Maxprep rankings suck.

Briefly looked through all classes. They have South Caldwell as a 2 seed with a Bye in 4A....lol. I'd look for other changes too.

Forestview finished 6th in the conference with a 3-4 conference record - they beat SC, NG, and Burns. They also lost a close one to Clover who was abysmal. aside from their non-conference wins over Gaston County seeds.

FV has a legit question to NCHSAA. They may have an answer, but Eastern Wayne had a MaxPreps ranking of 76 and FV was 68 going into last night. SC was 29 and today are still 29. Would have to think FVs would have improved with a win. Was it enough to bump them in.....

E. Wayne gets in because they are 2nd in a 5 team division but they are seeded as at-large because they weren't the overall #2 team in the league.

I must have been thinking of the Clover-Huss game. In my defense, I had just woken up and that was one of my first posts of the day. We ran into traffic hell on I-85N last night and didn't get home until 1 am, then I stayed up trying to catch up on all the posts.
