I see a thread about staff predictions. How about one for the rest of us?

Duke 82
UK 67

Duke pulls away for good towards the end of the first half and we don't pose a threat the rest of the game.

Washington leads the team in scoring, and does so efficiently, but doesn't take nearly as many shots as he needs to. Turnovers, many unforced, and getting little from our post players (both offensively and defensively) kill us.

I think this is the most likely scenario as well. We will keep it close until about 7 -8 in the first and Duke will start to pull away. We won't ever get within striking distance again. They win by 12 - 15. They eat us up inside and shoot well enough to keep us scrambling. It'll be similar to the game on now between KU and MSU.

84-77 Duke. High paced game we trail the entire way and can’t seem to get over the hump. No gifts from the refs with Oscar getting 2 fouls before the second tv timeout and we have to go small.

That being said, Go Big Blue!!

Man I have my blue tinted goggles on tonight and I’m thinking with my 42 year old heart the Wildcats by 15 over those damn Devils!

The number of 1 PT win predictions pretty much tells me what I need to know.

We jump out to a lead by around the 6 minute mark. After that Duke controls most of the remainder of the game. Kentucky comes back late, getting the lead down to a basket or two, before eventually losing by 6-8 points.

Washington’s absolutely killing us on both ends. Yet he stays in.
