What worries me is that we played with great energy and were flying up the floor against Morehead which lead to great defense. If our young cats now think they've been there, done that already, they may play with less desire and energy. Which would be a mistake.

Going to be a tough game, maybe an early loss, because this is raw experience vs. raw youth/talent. I'm hopeful defense keeps this one in our win column given I liked what I saw last Wednesday for defense from a brand new team, but I don't think these kids are quite ready for the experience and discipline they're about to see.

Low scoring affair - likely won't make it out of the 60s for either team, and I predict we'll have a lot of fouls and miss a lot of free throws (based on young team new defense and what I saw from the FT line consistency-wise last Weds).

68-61 Richmond (I hope I'm wrong!)

For sure going against a experienced team who can play. We know that. One thing you can’t mimic in practice is our length and size all over. I think it will bother Richmond. 81-69 cats. Sarr and mintz with good games. Clarke and Boston do what they do. Close most the game though till the under 4 on the 2nd half. Woke up in a great mood today could totally see any scenario I understand that completely. Can’t come out with no energy like above poster said.

UK wins 74-62. Boston and Clark dominate their matchups, Sarr hits some key jumpers and put backs late to seal it.

I’m having a hard time thinking Richmond can keep up with the athleticism and depth of a very young, but extremely talented UK team. I think the first half is a little close, but we wear them down and route them. 85-60. Clarke goes off scoring 30+.

This group is different. Yes they are young and this will be a challenge, but this is not a group that needs to be motivated.
These are some dogs. They will make mistakes but I think they will bring it. 71-60 cats

70-66 Cats! I think we get up by 12-15, but let them make it close in the last five mins

I am the world’s worst at picking scores, so I will say Richmond 90, Cats 45.

I think this will be a very tight game through. I say cats talent wins out by 5 in the end. Richmond hits shots and likely leads at the half

Well , obviously I should not pick the spread again. I said UK by 20. As great as I felt after the Morehead head game, I feel that down. If we play in March my 20 point spread may be close to being right, but for now, it is another 'watch them grow' season. I still like my team.
