With the full schedule being out what does everyone think?

I'm projecting 24-7 for now.

I think they go 10-3 non conference and 14-4 against the SEC. Win the SEC tournament, and at earliest a second weekend exit. I think they have a strong shot at the final four.

Its still a tad early but I could see 30-4 entering into the Dance. Lose to either Mich St or UNC and then lose 3 SEC play games ( at UF , at A&M and one more road game ). .

If we make the final four this year I think we're winning it. I can't see Cal blowing 3 FF opportunities in a 4 year span.

I'm gonna go with 33-7.

I think we take some lumps early in the season and lose 4 or 5 sec games and then win the ship.

(Yes, predicting your team to win the title is a homer thing to do. I'm okay with it)

i think this will be more like 2014. we could beat most everyone or lose 8-9. i think a lot of that depends on briscoe, willis and humphries stepping up and not getting overwhelmed in moments when we need a settling force. if our frosh can have a steady bench to really on and leadership from briscoe and the upperclassmen (come on willis) then i think in some games where we might have let teams stick around or pull ahead (due to our youth) we will get a better margin to actually win some those. if we do that we could have a gaudy record.

If you are predicting losses, then you either have to go with 3 or less, or, 9 or more. That is the way Cal coaches. For the most part, the team will perform well down the stretch and in the tournament, as most Cal teams do. The total number of losses will depend on how quickly the team meshes (or in Cal's words, how quickly he figures them out). Due to this team's length, athleticism, and defensive personalities, I am on the 3 or less side. Cal's best teams are the ones that have the ability to lock you up, and I believe this team has that kind of ability.

Lots of blue tinted shades up in here....

Nobody has what Cal has. I see nobody better.
Till they lose, 40 - 0 not out of the question.
We can lose, that's why they play.
We can lose to officials.
We can beat ourselves with poor coaching.
We can lose all by ourselves with poor execution.
We can be out smarted, I just don't see who beats us.
I like Gaudy!

11-2 Nonconference
13-5 SEC
3-0 SEC tournament

Head into NCAA 27-7. We make it to the Elite Eight, we're 30-7. If we win, we win it all, but I think that will decide the season.

So,either 30-8, or 33-7.

there was people last year predicting 35-5, 36-4 [eyeroll]. You never know who may not be as good as advertised. Skal Labissiere being a girly part had an enormous effect on last season.

I'll go 33-6 for now, losing in the Final Four.[/QUOTE. I can deal with that.. Another FF would suffice [thumb2]

8 or 9 losses, I see imbalance in the roster, I think we will struggle to score for a while at least

if they can come together defensively then that's a different story

I really think this is a different team. Most of the guys are wired more like Tyler. I don't think anyone is going to want to face our frontcourt or our backcourt. How quickly they gel is the biggest issue. On D they are going to be gruesome to play against. They already have a swagger about them. Plus, I like being optimistic and with this group that sets the bar pretty high.

38-2 and a brand new banner.

So you people don't see us with a #1 seed? We are loaded the return guys want this. 3 top 10 draft picks Monk/Fox/Bam

If we lose 5 or more in the weak SEC we won't get a #1

Ya must think this class is overrated no other way around it.

People are underestimating how good this team is going to be. I predicted 8 regular season losses last year. This year we have 4 losses, at most 5, going into the NCAA Tournament. Final Four. Who knows after that. This team has guys that are all winners and go balls out. Our length and quickness will be a nightmare for teams. Our guards cant be stopped one on one, so teams will constantly rotate over to cut off drives, leaving Willis open in the corner for 3's. I'm telling you guys, this team is going to be 2012 like but a little younger so 2 extra losses. Book it. I know my ****.
