I see us as a 3 seed. People keep bringing up the SEC being stronger, but I still wouldn't pick any other SEC team above us right now, and it gives us more chances at quality wins. A stronger conference doesn't automatically mean a worse seed guys.

The Ullis-Murray team was a 4 seed (should have been a 3) and this current team has a much higher ceiling team than that team ever did.

Way too early to tell. If we grow up over the holidays we can be a 1 or 2. We could also be a 4-6 seed if Vanderbilt can't come back strong and we dont find a leader.

I'd say we will lose a few more games than we normally see before we start becoming a very good team and the SEC will be tougher on the road so I will go with the NCAA giving us a 4 seed.

My record prediction for this team was 24-7. Win the SEC Tournament and we’re 27-7. I’d say we’d get a 2 or 3 seed with that. I’d imagine our bracket would look something like this...

1. Duke
2. Arizona
3. Kentucky
4. West Virginia
5. Wichita State

They’ll stack the deck against us as usual.

3 or 4 seed

More than likely, we lose 2 out of the VT, Louisville, UCLA, WV games (worst case - 3 losses)
That gives us 3-4 losses with SEC play still left

18 games in SEC - probably going something like 14-4 or 13-5

That puts us around 7-9 losses. It's going to come down to getting some "good wins"

With so many predicting us to lose to KU by double digits, I’d take these predictions with a huge grain of salt!

Hmmmm....

Potentially we could be a 1 seed. But that of course depends on how your season goes.

Realistically I say we lose 5-6, maybe 7 games.

In which we will get hosed and stuck as a 4 seed with Duke, Kansas as a 2, Witchia State (they’ll do that to us until the odds get us and we get beat by them to which we’ll hear- “Kentucky never was better than them”) and shoot why not, Louisville.

We get that bracket and I’m done with the NCAA Tourney.

I think the ceiling is 2, but we'll probably end up around a 4. On the other hand, we'll probably get hosed on region, seed, opposing teams, etc., regardless. #suckitNCAA

Some of you saying a 2 seed are watching something different than me. I think we will continue to improve but I don’t think the upside is as high with this team as most of our previous teams under Cal. I think we are looking at a 6 seed at this point. SEC road games will be tough on this team.

I’ll say this, the LSU team that just beat Michigan beats the brakes off this team. Waters would go for 30 vs us. Our backcourt is non existent and you don’t do well in college BB without a backcourt. I think we’ll get to the dance, but the 2012-2013 was better than this bunch.

I am flying in to KY for new years and was planning on seeing the UK vs UoL game. If the football team is sent to the Music City Bowl I will be there. I have no interest in watching these money hungry kids.

5 or 6 we will take some Loses on road in SEC this year. League is too good to win a lot on the road. A&M, Florida, Bama, LSU, Mizzou, Georgia will all be tough road games.
