Bonus prediction: how many more 600 yard passing games will Costello have?

The over reactions on this board crack me up. This question was posted last week. My guess wad 5-5, up from my preseason 3-7, and I'm pretty sure I was the low man in the thread. I'm sticking with 5-5, and I wonder if Im the high man now?

This is what you get with Leach, and it's the reason I was never thrilled with his hire. Some days everything works and he can upset great teams. Some days we get 14 points. Given a choice, I would rather beat LSU and lose to Arkansas than the other way around.

Our defense is playing much better than I expected. KJ will develop patience; I dont know if he will learn to fight for the tough yards on 3rd down.

Fasten your seat belts, and keep swinging your sword.

He’ll have 2 more 600yd games. Hill will be back and we’ll be much more successful. And hopefully when he’s not in it is Johnson. He can break tackle, something Marks is incapable of at this moment.

5-5 we aren’t as good as we thought last week and not as bad as we think this week.

I would love to see some chart with predictions from before we played a game, last week and this week. It would give me a needed laugh.

Some of y’all change with the wind. Still think it’s 5 maybe 6 wins, just like last week.

Fans = fanatics. Sports message boards bring out the fanatics and we are emotional.

I will say I thought we gained a win last week, but that was mainly because I had LSU as a loss. I also had Arky as a win. Welcome to the Leach roller coaster gentlemen.

Yeah go back and look at that thread from last week and notice where I posted about injury luck. It still holds true. Goes our way, 6-7 wins. Doesn't go our way, 2-3 wins.

Back to where I was preseason. 4 or 5 wins. We’ll have another WTF win and another WTF loss too.

Well.... I thought Kentucky and Ole Miss both looked like **** yesterday... until I watched our game...

I think it probably goes like this...

Kentucky - Toss up, but I’m leaning win
Texas A&M - Loss, but a close one
Alabama - Loss, we get beat by about 40
Vanderbilt - Win by double digits
Auburn - Loss, but a close one
Georgia - Loss, we get beat by about 20
Ole Miss - who the 17 knows anymore?
Missouri - Win, but close

So that’s what? 3-7 to 5-5 depending on Kentucky and Ole Miss.

Jesus... I just realized 5 wins is our ceiling... I just had a flashback to pre-Mullen days...

Still going with 6-4 in spite of the pathetic loss from last night, but it was clear proof that there will be absolutely no gimmies.

I will say that never in my life have I gone so quickly from thinking our offense could score on anyone to not having any confidence that we’ll even get a first down. Last night was an absolute clinic in what not to do against a mediocre zone defense

Yeah... we ain’t beatin Kentucky. They ain’t starting 0-3 with 2 of the losses coming at home. We blew a chance to start 2-0 and build momentum. Our team is totally confused, we have an All-American type place kicker that our HC apparently doesn’t trust, and I saw the same blown coverages last night in person that I saw in Nashville last December, guys wide open for TDs.
