Selection Sunday used to be my favorite national holiday. Hopefully, it will become that once again.

You guys just did "Spring Forward" last night, right? I'll have to remember that you're now 3 hours ahead of AZ time, instead of just two, so that I tune in at the right time to watch the show.

I'm sure the guide on your tv will adjust for the time change.

Today is a day of celebration! R Hoops is in the NCAAs. We had to earn it twice to get in once, but this team did it. When these guys were being recruited, you know they heard whispers of “Rutgers? Don’t you want to go to the NCAAs?”

But they believed in Pike and the staff and came to Rutgers to blaze their own path and build a successful program in the nation’s toughest conference. Incredibly admirable. They deserve this.

And so do we, an insane, intensely loyal group that we are. It’s a great day to be a Knight! Break out the bubbly!!!

My whole family is fired up for today, not because they care about Rutgers necessarily, but they understand what this means to me. This has been a long time coming ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy it.

People still fearing that we’re not in? That 2-1 last three put us in. Just wait to hear our name like the rest of us. Lol.

Congratulations to all and also congratulations to the team, coaches, support staff and administration for doing a great job following Covid protocols and not having to miss or postpone any games!

Took my son to his first game when he was 5 when GW was still coaching (who I considered a good coach); and going to all those games with the coaches after him --- finally under SP my son could see what this building was like with packed loud fans and exciting competitive games; it took a long time - but today is celebration day.

The Big Ten Championship will probably go to 6 overtimes and the Selection Show will be pushed back an hour, preempted by Murder, She Wrote and they’ll tell us that the announcement will be on their new streaming service or something and I’ll be watching a buffering message on my tablet until I throw it in a pond in anger.
