Hoping for a safe, successful surgery and a quick recovery. Scary thought for anybody to have to go through things of this nature, prayers up for he and those close to him.

Agree with Feez13 can't believe some small minded people are making an issue if he flopped or played for UofL. The young man was a very good person who's going thru a possible life threatening procedure. Best wishes Kyle!

Speaking of Luke Hancock, I'll never forget the time I saw him, Tim Henderson, Van Treese, and someone else (either a walkon, or someone who doesn't play on the team) all come into Clucker's on U of L's campus (it's now Griff's) the morning after the Sweet 16 loss to UK in 2014. I didn't talk to them, but I overheard them talking about the teams left in the tourney. All four of them predicted UK to beat Michigan.

One of my favorite UofL players (Russ Smith is my favorite) and I will be praying for Kyle and his family.

Prayers for him & a full recovery! Like others have said, I don't care if he played for IU, Duke, UNC, wherever, he's a human being!

I remember when he came off the bench against #1 Syracuse and had like 20+ points in the second half in the last game at Freedom Hall. Been a fan of his ever since

I may not like him when he was on UofL's team but that won't stop me from wishing him a speedy recovery. Hope all goes well for Kyle.

I hope everything goes well for this young man. I wouldn't wish this type of surgery on anyone.

Sad situation. My mother-in-law just went through a brain tumor ordeal. Couldn't operate, but chemo and radiation killed it thank God.

Praying for Kyle and his family, for all their health both physically and spiritually and for them to have peace and glorify Jesus through this trial. Whatever happens, God's got this.

When it comes to something like this who he played for and what he might or might not have done is not relevant! Best of wishes to this young man.

This is a very serious operation, obviously. Hoping everything goes well for this young man and his family and his surgeon.

Being young and strong will no doubt help him.
