For my husband
Rob is in the hospital…
Went to the ER w/chest pain and shortness of breath last night. Blood sugar was 799
Transferred to Baptist Louisville..currently sitting in CCU with a heparin drip and an insulin drip
Scheduled to have a cath late this morning or early afternoon. Echocardiogram being done right now

If y’all could throw a prayer, good thoughts, positive vibes, etc, his way I’d greatly appreciate it

Consider it done in the spirit of love and concern for your loved one. May God pull him through this and may He bless the hands of the physicians in Rob's care and they make the correct decisions for his completely recovery.

So....
Robbie DID have a small heart attack. Us getting him to the hospital so quickly last night stopped it before it got worse
He had two occluded arteries..one was 90% the other was 85%. Got new stents in both
He’s going to be here a few days. Have to get the blood sugar under control
I’m hoping he’ll be out by the weekend.

You diabetics have to take extra special care of yourselves. I say this as I'm eating fried chicken. Forgive me. My cousin didn't take care of himself, and is now using a donor kidney/pancreas combo.

Praying for him to recover faster than expected and to get the blood sugar under control. Did he have stents in place already?

Will do BKO. I've dealt with some of those issues myself. It's no fun. Praying God will be gracious. 🙏
