Have the doctors said what caused the seizures?
Is it possible that you don't have a clear recall of the situation due to having seizures and pain medications (morphine)?
Seizures can sometimes cause twitching or jerking of arms and legs.
I hope you are better and that they find the root cause of the problems.

I saw a neurologist a few years ago and I was diagnosed with non-epileptic seizures, but I have a rare kind where I have to take medication daily like someone who has epilepsy. My seizures are usually set off by loud noises and flashing lights.
The doctor and I both agreed to stop the Bacfron. It was conflicting with my other medicine.
Audubon is going through major renovations. They are eliminating the 6th floor on the Emergency Room side. Right now they are temporarily using it as an over-flow. One of the aides referred to it as the "fake 6th floor."
The pictures do not show the extent of the bruises and no... they aren't needle marks.
I don't feel comfortable showing the bruise on my jaw or back. The hospital covered their bases and said I had a mental illness. No chance of charges being filed, but like my dad says, "I might be crazy, but I'm not nuts." I know what happened. Probably why I'm sitting at home right now.
It is good that you and your doctors somewhat know why you have seizures. From the little reading that I have done on non-epileptic seizures, it seems that they are related to trauma or psychological distress (like PTSD).
Can you watch fireworks shows?

I'm hanging in there. Sore, but I go see the doctor again this week. I'll be okay.
I'm not pressing charges. I might need that place again. Hopefully not soon though. [winking]

Seems like the overwhelming majority of posters ARE concerned about Cindog. I certainly wish her a speedy recovery. Who’s making it about ‘them’ ?
