Prayers do nothing. People just assign a false equivalency to good things being because of prayer because said person happens to pray a lot, however, when bad things happen, they still prayed a lot. They praying had nothing to do with either.

However, do as you will and best of luck. But I can assure you, praying won't clean it up, build it back or replace any of it.

My area experienced this type of flooding in 2022, It scars a community. Many people relocate, businesses are shuttered and jobs are lost. My heart goes out to the OP. I can say Samaritans Purse is legit. They helped many people in my area which is why I donate to them when I can.

Is it me or has weather events become more numerous and severe?
