Also, if Cal was lying, it would be a fireable offense and a way to end his contract without paying the buyout. It's a win all around for Mitch to approve it. Either Cal is lying and gets fired, or we get a brand new practice facility paid for by donors.

The current practice facility was $30 million 15 years ago and you want to build one today with 15 years of inflation for the same price with those $30 million in pledges that was reported by Kyle Tucker. Too funny.
I already have. Mitch said in the Matt Jones interview that thinks he can raise $30 from former players. Mitch said I think he probably can but that won't cover the cost and he doesn't have the money lined up, it's what he thinks he can raise.

How has he manipulated me when I still want him replaced and still hold him accountable? But if he can get the money for a new facility, why would I not bleed that dry and at least get something out of him? Particularly if he is basically taking money from UK athletics for his contract. This way we at least recoup the loss in some manner.

As I already said, Mitch said he didn't tell Cal he won't build it. Ho told Cal what the process is for for getting it built. So he explained to Cal the steps and was open to building it. It's not a hard concept at all.
