Maybe for games played Nov 1 through end of spring ball. Otherwise probably temp like playing on asphalt road rest of the year. Recycled tires already increase field temp on field turf

Your point stands, a black field would blow to play on, but they don't really use all that rubber for filler anymore.

Iirc it's more of like a sandy cork composite. Obviously super hard to see on TV but when the stuff flies up it's a little more tanish and brownish than black. Leaves the temperature a little cooler and there's no rubber dust so it's way healthier for players long term health
