Watching him this afternoon, no doubt he could play for us can’t believe we didn’t recruit him harder but I think I figured out why I just saw him make two free throws!!!

Seeing his stats makes me really wish he played for our team. Averaging 14.6 pointers per game, 6.1 rebounds, 4.4 assists per game...damn that’s a solid recruiting miss.
He ended today with 9pts,8rebs, and 5 assists I would take that.
SMH...51 percent 3pt% and 50 percent FG% on the season so far .... damn.
He would ride the bench at Kentucky.

spot on makes me so damn angry. Cal has got to go he could give two ***** about kids that just know how to play but don't have the physical specs. just a damn shame we watch these kids fly out of the state year after year that could help us.

Can’t have him running up the score and limiting the number of missed shot opportunities for our “shooters”.
I added it in a second post somewhere in this thread. He’s shooting 50 percent from the field too! You’re right we could have used him no doubt about it.
It would have helped if he had gotten an offer but he didn’t. He left prep school in Florida while he was in high school because he’s close to his mother so Kentucky would have had a good chance possibly. Something we will never know.

Cal wouldn't get enough headlines if it was just a poor white kid.
I guarantee you if Cal had offered him, he would have been a UK fan. These kids know that Cal is NOT going to offer them. He is to hung up on the number of stars they have by their name. Like I have said many times, Cal cannot judge talent. He just goes by the stars, unless someone he knows, tells him that a certain player is good.

Cal recruits for the draft, so if he doesn't think the kid could get drafted, he won't waste a scholarship.
Remember, he's trying to help 5* kids reach their dreams.
There was no guarantee AD was coming here either, but Cal offered him and look what happened.

Our guys always seem to labor to score, but thrive when they go somewhere else (Wiltjer, Juzang, Baker, Matthews etc..)

Lots of kids in Kentucky can fill it up. We don't even use all our scholarships and right now we only have two kids on the roster that you even think might hit a 3 and one of them doesn't play.
