if qb's are close, seems you would have one start one series, then another start the next..pretty soon it becomes evident who should be starting. sure did last year. then you can't be accused of favoring anyone, and your back up has some experince..

Man what Casey could have done with solid blocking this year, if he had that solid blocking Thompson would have been declaring I have no doubt.
Agree, but he had to know what kind of blocking he was going to get when he chose NU.

Torres didn't play for some juggernaut High school team that put up 60 points a game. Those aren't terrible stats.

Torres suffered a knee injury that cut his senior season short. He threw for 912 yards and 12 touchdowns in four games, while rushing 14 times for 76 yards and one touchdown. As a junior, he passed for 1,149 yards and 18 touchdowns, while rushing for 276 yards. Torres also played basketball for Southside.
Top tier D1 QBs don't throw for 1100 yards their Jr season. His senior year he averaged 225 yards per game. He won't play for NU.
