It would seem, from reading many posts on this board, that there are many potential head coaches who post on here. The profound insights and genius suggestions for what we need to do are astounding. The depth of football knowledge is just amazing.

So if we fire Frost now, as it seems many on here think we should, Moos should just come to this board. He will find several potential new head coaches to choose from.

So much overreaction on here today. It’s like people think college football is PlayStation where all you need is a better person using the controller to win. Getting a new coach isn’t a cure-all no matter how good of a coach they are. There are no quick fixes for poor work ethic and lack of discipline. Maybe things were worse than anyone thought and this will take time. Yeah, it sucks. But that doesn’t mean we crucify a staff that already proved they know how to win. It just means you suck it up, quit complaining and give them time. If these guys can’t get it done quickly, no one can. Deal with it and quit acting like it’s their fault for not meeting your expectations of a program that’s been broken for a long time. They didn’t forget how to coach. The system isn’t the problem. It’s just going to take a few years.

You're sure about the lack of work ethic? Are you in the locker room and practice field every day?

It will take a Devaney, Bill Snyder, Bill McCartney type effort to get Nebraska back to decency. I think by the end of Frost's third year we will have our answer.

Nebraska is not the easiest sell to a great deal of 4 and 5 star players, most of whom know nothing more about Nebraska than it being mediocre in their lifetime, the recruiting the next 3 years, as we know, is extremely crucial. Not only getting quality in every class, but having most all of those players around in their senior year. Attrition or players not developing has been devastating to the program to say the least.

And I wonder quite a bit in the sense that if Frost can't raise this Titanic, I don't know who can. We shall see.

Farmer is. He told us about it last week. Guys don’t know what it means to be all in. There’s plenty of evidence to show guys aren’t all in. They didn’t even have to lift the last 3 years if they didn’t want to. I’m sure lots of guys chose not to and that’s not an attitude that’s quickly changed. College kids aren’t the most reliable bunch and human nature is to resist change, especially when that change requires a lot more work on your part.

You must have missed the weight and strength gains. You must of missed the screen passes that Michigan smelled out and had the speed to blow up.

Oh, we have endless heavy thinkers here that are several light-years sharper than Frost could ever be. If you don't believe that.......just ask them! They'll be so glad to tell you.

Holy crap. You guys are garbage ( sorry, just stating the obvious). Frost won't succeed in a state where there are three good high schools per year. You need a coach that runs the I formation and is able to take advantage of a Midwestern talent.

Nebraska fans wanting to fire their coach after 3 games is laughable and insane at the same time. You have to have time to bring in his type of talent. Short term you guys will take a lot of lumps but long term... 3 seasons or so it will get better. One thing Nebraska has in its favor is tradition and a blue blood team to draw in recruits. Give it time...it will happen!

I don't do LOL.

And the only wtf is going to be you will see they will NEVER win the Big 10 with this offense. Now I'm worried about Purdue. Maryland may even have better athletes than NU.

ah yes, we need to get that fullback back.... when we do .... championships

Quick hitters. Before DT's can get off their blocks. Plus the threat is the perfect compliment to outside stuff.
I guarantee you we will NEVER win a Big Ten Championship with this offense.

I did. But I was suspicious with this offense. Most of the time in the Osborne era I felt we didn't need the option.

And you’ve concluded after 3 total games and one big ten game using freshmen and players that went 4-8 last year that it can’t possibly work?
