Hicks is average but he knows Neal Brown's offense.

Brown as a OC used a lot of Sonny Dykes vernacular
Don't know about the Minnesota's OC
Minnesota might have a transfer.
He played a lot but they went with a walk on freshman.

Best way.

Follow your coaches on Twitter.
Then you can see who they follow.
You have a good idea.
Texas coaches already followed 25+ grad transfers and transfers .
But not all coaches are active on Twitter.

Real coaches develop players, esp at QB, imo......not just poach players already developed by a good staff.

I hope Brown either sees his QB on our current roster, or playing in HS right now.

I thought we didn't want to see transfers and only good coaches recruited players from high school?

Or is that ok NOW?

Ideally you find them in high school or get guys like Will or Jack who can play multiple years after transfer. If you do a good job in recruiting most starters only play 2 or 3 years anyway. 4 year guys like Pat are hard to find. Looking at the roster this might be a year to consider a one and done just to get Brown time to develop Jack/Trey or get a guy on campus. I'm anxious to see what Brown and his eventual staff can do in recruiting.
