So happy for the players and coaches. They should celebrate all they want today. Tomorrow they'll get back to work and try to do it again next week.

It was a huge game. I personally thought this game was Ash's biggest challenge yet, and he passed this test. The players should be happy to get a B1G road win!

Why be sad at stopping a 16 conference losing streak, seeing a QB have a good game, see the emergence of some young players, see some different play calls, see the defense have a good game etc etc.
I'm still pumped this morning. The Rutgers men put it all out there yesterday. Huge win and there's more to come and they know it. Fantastic.

I get the sarcasm.. as you noted. But there was a real lesson in that game. That Illinois team wasn't as bad as they have become known.. and we have no idea what we had with our team.. and that opening half.. we knew Rutgers is a for-real football team. Then we got too conservative and lost momentum and Illinois SOMEHOW pulled off the improbably come-from-behind victory. That could have happened yesterday.. we got too conservative in the 2nd half. We need to be more aggressive.
Was just about to type this exact thought. Winning is most definitely contagious. Lets keep the momentum Lets hope that this win helps turn the corner. No I am not suggesting we will win out. I am suggesting that looking back we were showing signs of life (Outside of Ohio State we were in every game and Could have won any or all). Just not knowing how to finish and win games. Hopefully this win teaches this group how to finish. I am slightly upset that we eased up and allowed a few late touchdowns We should have finished the game the we started. I think the bye week came at the right time. I think the players only meeting may have cleared the air and improved the locker room. he did not. In an article on NJ dot com it said the team missed him with the Gatorade bath. However, they soaked him with the water bottles during the celebration in the locker room and he appeared at the post game presser looking like he had just taken a shower.
UtOH- getting Mrs Screw ticked off compares to getting RaRa ticked off. Just saying
