It is one thing to miss shots; it’s another to not take them. When Ron Harper Sr. looked at the box scores and saw the shot totals, it was obvious something was wrong: Only six shots vs. Maryland, nine against Iowa, six vs. Minnesota. That’s not enough to fight your way out of a slump.
Great article by Politi. He can be a smarmy little effer, but he can also write some really superb articles, like this one and several he wrote during the run up to rehiring Schiano and afterwards.
