Do we expect more to come out? I mean a single phone call is enough to get canned, but is it enough to bleed into the NCAA investigation? Finebaum seems to think this is a good thing. For the record, I don't.

I think they are Super 17ed. Something in the phone records was enough to make Hugh resign and leave $20 million without a fight.

Just getting Hookers for himself isn't a NCAA violation. Now if he paid for Hookers to sleep with prospects to entice the prospects to sign with Ole Miss...that would be a NCAA violation.

Doesn't really matter, I think Ole Miss is royally 17ed now more than ever.

Extra NCAA investigation or not (and I do think this will reopen the case ala draft night), this alone is enough for the COI to absolutely throw the book at Ole Miss and discount any kind of testimony toward Freeze's character or intentions. Why should the COI believe anything Freeze has to say when he was covering actions from his own employer?

Exactly. The response is riddled with statements about Freeze being a stand up guy who has given no reason to be questioned. They are done.

Not to pile on but if this comes to pass there will be nothing left of their

Program and let's be honest there have been many strong rumors on this over the years.

Interesting take. Would be fun to read the character defense portions of the response now.
