this guy just hit the Market .
BREAKING: Virginia Tech leading scorer Landers Nolley II will transfer, source told @Stadium. The 6-foot-7 sophomore averaged 15.5 points and 5.8 boards per game last season.

Source told me he wants to find a spot where he can play on the wing.

Not sure . That was a Jeff Goodman tweet . Thought we could keep all transfer possibilities in the same thread

Seems like a fair trade to me. One of our stable of running backs for their leading scorer.

Never seen him play, but I’m not sure I’m a fan of those percentages. Fg% of 37% and 3pt % of 31%. Seems like a high volume shooter who scored because someone has to. Only a freshman though so that’s a plus

RHJ shot 41% Fg and 27% 3pt as a frosh. This year he improved to 45% Fg and 35% 3pt. It's not the worst thing that can happen for Rutgers.

Hard pass on anyone who says "he wants to find a spot where he can play on eh wing"

Does not sound like a team player to me. At any given time this season we had players see their role diminish for the great good of the team. This type of attitude does no jive well with what our team is about.

Nolley is not good for team chemistry. Illinois recruited him until it was apparent that he was a “me” player. High usage player with poor shooting stats. He is a good shooter but never sees a shot he doesn’t like so his percentage suffers..

Unless we re talking about a sure thing or a team me first kid, Pike will not recruit a grad transfer. CJ Getty was recruited due to necessity and Pike knew Kwasi. The only situation where I see Pike recruiting a grad transfer will be if we don’t land Cliff and there s a capable big guy as a grad transfer.

If Cliff goes to ASU we need to find another CJ Gettys. Nobody ever heard of CJ before he got here and we just need someone who can back up Myles and give decent minutes when Myles is in foul trouble
