Personally, based on what I’ve seen and people I talked to around the program they are excited about the year. Once I see a few practices, yes I do attend practices, I will make my predictions.
Yes because you have to look at the whole body of work. 2-10, 5-8, 6-6. OM will cary a lot of weight but will also depend on other games and how we played
I’m all for looking at the whole body of work. But if you think there’s any chance we’d fire a coach who finished 6-6, won 3 SEC game and win the egg bowl you have lost your mind. We’ll probably keep him if he wins 5 & beats UMiss.
Yet Moorhead was retained after that egg bowl until the farce of the bowl game. And he had a much better record than Lebby.
He was heading toward being fired but yes the egg secured his job until bowl. The plan was always to fire him after the bowl game
