I wonder if any of the current WRs will transfer out (Hardy, Hahn, Grimes, Neville, Nixon)? We can't have many scholarships left to give unless we expect more attrition.
We only lost Falck, Toure and Brewington from the WR room, right? Wondering if the staff doesn't have faith in some of the young guys (Betts, Brown, Manning, Martin) ever stepping up into an every-down role, or if we are just striking while the Mickey Joseph iron is hot?
I had the same thought. Do they just not expect the guys you mentioned, along with Alante Brown, Nixon, Grimes, Hardy, to be able to play?
WR just wouldn't seem like the place we would need transfers unless they've had lots of recruiting misses in the last few classes. OL, QB and pass rush seem like more obvious portal needs.
Tells me there is real urgency to winning next year, so spots will be given to playmakers
None of those guys have 500 career yards receiving. Still a very unproven group, we need more talent and depth there. Plus there is a chance somebody leaves due to playing time. Keep bringing in the talent Mickey.
We had been playing a rotation of 6 WRs in the past. IF we continue that we can use a couple of more WRs. Competition makes everybody better.
