I see Jazz Patterson rushed 7 times for 23 yards. He was the third running back for MSU. I was hoping he'd do well but seems similar to when he was at Iowa. Dakin had one punt which was returned 23 yards by Toledo. The Rockets gave Sparty a run for their money.

Kind of sucks Jaz left being our #2 back to be a #3 back. Grass isn't always greener

Jaz was not going to be #2 after phillips iirc came to the hawks

I couldn't remember what came first. Truth be told, I'm not a huge Moulton fan. Always want him to do awesome but I've never really seen RB1 material.

Moulton is very good but he just cant make that last guy miss or go to another gear to house them. Not sure why you are not a huge fan as have you looked at his stats?

Last two years 254 carries for 1350 yards for a 5.3 yards per carry avg and takes care of the football. I would love of guy like that as a 1 or 2 running back every year

he had 60 carries in '25. I'm not sure he would have gotten more in '26

Very much reminds me of Fred Russell with the yards per carry so high and lots of 20 plus yard runs, just always caught by the last guy. But he also could've had ten more TDs last year if Gronowski wasn't our goal line threat (though that also lowers your yards per carry if you do the short yardage work as well).

Overall - I like Moulton and am good with him being RB1.

That said, he lacks take-it-to-the-house speed which does irritate me a bit.

I see Entringer led (edit) Louisville with seven tackles last night. Allen (edit) had one sack for Vanderbilt. I think they both entered the portal because the Hawk's didn't pay what their agents felt they were worth.

Entringer would have been good to retain but Iowa probably got two, maybe three safeties for what he wanted. In Allen's (edit) case, Hawks had Epenesa in the wings. They also got Kamara who is a better pass rusher.
