I hate saying it but unless Pope transforms into this great coach in a few months best thing is for him to be fired in Feb giving time to search for a LEGIT coach instead of race to beat portal an settle.

precisely. this will be Pope's last season here and praise God for that

The next hire could be the most important hire in the history of UK basketball if UK wants to remain even in the conversation. Lots of good X and O coaches exist but for the love of God we better get someone who can evaluate talent and get the players. After that they better have the balls to motivate them. You can get assistants to do the scouting, game plans and X and Os. Pope have failed at this important part and it isn’t going to improve.
