On coaching only, Ash has not had a positive impact. Not saying he sucks only that he has shown nothing so far.
He might be an opposing coaches coach. They absolutely love him.
I bet some of our opponents with be making large anonymous donations to keep our coaching staff in place for a long long time.
He is great because he coached at Ohio St and has videos of off season workouts and has fluids available 24/7 to keep players hydrated!
He knows what he is doing, but who are these assistants? Seems like a bunch of no names, can't compete in the B1G with that.
Guess it was the players fault and not floods when he was coach also ?
He assembled an awful staff. Only criteria was if they worked as assistants to assistants at OSU...lol
He is the one that recruited them and coached them up. This is Flood's team right now.
I blame flood!!! He fumbles, he can't tackle, he can't call plays, he can't hire staff, and he can't catch.

Coaches did not overthrow TDs to Patton, muff a punt, fumble the ball, or throw the INT. They have little to work with, especially at QB. Losing Grant has been huge.
no doubt about that...but it was him who cause the lapse in talent being brought in. This cluster F is all on him. If Ash can't get 2 or 3 solid recruiting classes in the next few years. we're officially set back to pre schiano era.
Yeah - I'm sure Ash is coaching his players to turn it over 5+ times in a game. Guys coughing up the ball on our end of the field...that is on the player. You also to have give the Ilini credit - they forced a few of those turnovers. Turnovers were the story of this game. We moved the ball when Rescigno came in - give credit to the coaches for putting him into the game in the second half.
You're wrong, there's talent on this team it just needs to be developed. That is on Ash.

Our Oline, DLine, RBs, DBs (majority of team) are not MAC level. Our coaches actually are, but are just not very good. Bro.

Don't think this has been said yet about the complaints concerning RU's HC/OC/DC/STC and every position coach and GAs ( Strength Coach looks like he has 100% support so leaving him out) making it look like under them this is the only thing that can be said :

Schiano was not a people person. Could care less about the O. Was not a great head coach but was and is a superb D coordinator. In spite of this he got it done and probably could have continued moving this train forward if he had stayed. .When he left 11 years went down the rat hole. IMHO
