Yeah, that's me. I'm done here.

Ok. Because I really couldn't understand why you were speechless. We were having a fairly benign conversation and I didn't say anything particularly outlandish.

I'm speechless.

Derek Willis is not an All-American but he's valuable. Josh Jackson got the rebound over Willis. He got several rebounds over Willis. Jackson will be a top 5 pick in this year's draft. Willis had 18 points, 6 rebounds, 2 blocks. He was 6-7 from the field, 5-6 from 3's. We had guys taking fall away jumpers in crunch time. Some of you guys are pathetic! We lost because Kansas shot lights out the 2nd half and turned the ball over and missed crucial shots and free throws. It's a team game, it was a team effort.

No offense taken. I just disagree with your position here. I normally like your posts. People don't have to agree on everything.

Have you watched the other players as much as you watch Willis. I think you would see they all make mistakes, seniors or not.

For maybe the 700th time, this thread is about Willis. Some of you really seem to get your feelings hurt where Willis is concerned.

I've certainly discussed other players in other threads. But I do tend to expect fewer stupid mistakes from Seniors.

No, I just think it's blown out of proportion every game. Everyone makes mistakes, but the missed rebound late in the game wasn't one. He was blocking his man out.

We'll just have to agree to disagree. If I were in Willis' shoes and let Jackson get that rebound, I would have blamed myself.

I hope Willis feels the same way. Probably won't be the last time he needs to grab an important rebound.

Wilis shot well. He also gave up a critical offensive rebound to Jackson to push it from 5 to 7 late.

That was a losing play. You can't advance far when your Seniors make plays like that.

Let's see, Willis was out-quicked for a late rebound by a 5-star and the best player on the floor tonite. How'd that happen?

It happens too often, and it can't happen if we want to win it all.

Getting beaten for rebounds at crunch time will make or break your season. Whether it's Willis, or Gabriel, or Bam.

Without DW we get beat by 15 tonight.

Back to back games in the last minute DW has given up a huge bucket when he shouldn't have.

It's not that hard guys. We all love Willis.

When you throw it away as may times as we did and you can't hit free throws or score your going to lose. Kansas isn't the only team that would have beat us tonight, a few of the other SEC teams would have also.

Especially when Willis is out there playing the 4 spot. Cant rely on Bam he only grabs 5 a game, which amazes me.
Yeah, I think he does all he's capable of doing. He's a bit mechanical on defense, but that may be his ceiling. I think he provides more than he costs us. He tries.

The guy that has lost the last two games is Cal. He refuses to make adjustments because of stubbornness. He also refuses to sit his OAD's when they make mistake after mistake. However it is hard to replace these players when we do not have any role players.

Willis was five for five at one point from three.
Man is going to be huge moving forward.

His game is picking up.
I'm a Willis fan but don't get suckered in. He's not moving forward at this stage in his career. He is what he is. This means he will still be average on defense and have many games where he's great and many where he sucks. But make no mistake, being huge moving forward isn't always huge in a good way. I'll be rooting for him though as we need his offense.

If that were a real thing it would explain the capitalized letters. Congrats and thank you for that service..
