Totally agree. In a tournament that frequently sees the lower ranked team win, this is a terrible deal.

Oregon made it to the Pac 12 championship game in football because of COVID and now they're at it again...

So if you or your parent was reffing, scorekeeping or coaching the game, you’d be okay with someone playing who was positive?

Absolutely. I'd guess my parent would be smart enough not to be in close contact with the infected player for 15 consecutive minutes.

Well I learned something tonight. Didn’t realize it took 15 minutes to get infected. Regardless, I respect that you’re not asking someone to take a risk that you wouldn’t take yourself.

Imagine what would happen if we just treated it like the hundreds of years prior where if you have a cold that affects your play you just play less minutes or not at all. What a disaster that has always been...thank science for now we have the magic test that sends everyone into a f*** tail spin! My how the mighty have fallen

Doesn't matter how many vaccines are administered. This virus is something the powers that be want to keep going and going and going. Just like the energizer bunny. It's absolutely ridiculous now.

This is stupid. I get if the players and coaches and refs said "no way" but I can't imagine that is the case.

That's the standard the Health Department used when they quarantined my son's football team this fall.

I wouldn't have any issue with being at a game where a team was playing where one or multiple of the players tested positive. You know why? Because COVID is all around us. You've been exposed. I've been exposed. Heck, tons of people have had it and didn't even realize it. Such a deadly virus that a bunch of people have to be tested to even know they had it. Oh, the terror of it all!

The silly notion that shutting everything down is going to stop this thing has been stupid from almost the beginning and has done way more damage than the virus itself. At some point I hope people wake up to the fact that they are just making things up as they go and many of the policies they are pushing make no logical sense. It's been a year now, so I guess maybe that isn't going to happen.

I honestly believe that we will find out that pretty much everyone in America has had it. I really do.
