He's a special kind of talent, but won't be on an MJ, Kobe, LeBron, KD level. He does a lot of things well, but against NBA guys, I don't think he has the versatility to create his own shot.

I don’t know how good he can be, but right now, as a #1 pick, he sure looks better next to AD to me than as a player you build a franchise around.

A far drop was Tatum this year from Tatum last year.
The return of Hayward. They have an overload of guys who play the same position. Add to that a ball dominant guard in Kyrie. Just seemed a regression was bound to happen under their current roster construction.

Still put a near 16 a game and shot 45%. Had to look that up

Not to compare college level players to NBA, but I recall a lot of people on here saying Zion is overhyped because he was just dunking on 5 ft nothing white boys in high school and that he would struggle at Duke. I think he is a future HOF and 1st team All-NBA level player

LeBron and MJ choice should have been "All Time Great"

Needs a wedge in there for perrenial All Star...

Then you could do your other options.

IMO, based shearly off athletic ability- specifically body control, speed and strength Zion will be a perrenial All Star.....all time great, I doubt.

I think offensively he'll be similar to Randle, he'll be a better defender though.

IMO, which really doesn't matter at all, I think he's going to have to change his game to really last. He's a borderline 300 pound freight train, going from a 40 game season to at least an 82 game season. I don't see his body holding up.

That being said, I'm pretty sure he could still kick my ***.

A guy that big can't move that quick and jump that high, can't do so without being chemically enhanced. Williamson is a drug test or blown out knee from obscurity. Even before either of the 2 aforementioned things happen, he will not be allowed to just run over everybody in his path without ever getting offensive fouls called on him. Just let him try to bully the Boogie Man and see what happens.

He’s not “borderline 300”

I would put him in kyrie terrritory. I think he will be strong when he plays but will be often injured in an 82 game season. I don’t think he has the durability to get through 82 game season where each game is 8 min longer. If he has to carry the Pelicans he will probably Peter out pretty quick. He needs davis

Lebron isn’t on Jordan’s tier. Sorry.

Jordan is on a tier alone. He’s not that

Next tier is Lebron / Bird tier. Nope.

He’s just below that. I’m guessing a Carmelo in his prime or something similar in terms of importance.

I think Zion has a rude awakening ahead.

This is what everyone said before he got to college. He's not going to be MJ or LBJ, but hes going to be in that Harden, Westbrook, Griffin stratosphere of being one of the top players at his position for as long his knees hold out. He will have a good first year or 2 but once he gets used to the game and gets a little more trimmed down, hes gonna be at that level for years barring an injury.

Zion is a freak talent who will be an All Star (if healthy).
He's a step ahead of KAT and a 3 point shot away from Durant potential.

If he stays at that weight he may be an All Star or he just as likely blow out his knees and end up a "what could have been" story on ESPN's 30 For 30

Zion would make NOP noticeably better

82 game will be insane but just be smart and only play 72-75 games. (not just Zion but all players really)

They still need a shooter but Randle and Davis can learn to shoot better too. That can be game changer.

Lol Tatum is average? Come on now. Dudes a future all star. Far drop from that to Okafor

Honestly being an NBA All Star is as much about being popular as being one of the best in the league sometimes. I mean let's be honest Jamal Magloire was an All Star as was BJ Armstrong, Dale Davis and Kyle Korver who averaged around 12 ppg in his all star season and has never averaged more than 14.
