I've included some names that have come up and names of coaches that Moos has worked with in the past. Interested to see the results

He's safe. Really doubt he gets fired now.
Three games doesn't make a season. There's no excuse for NU to finish in the cellar like they did. And a guy that left, for reasons we don't know ( but I will speculate that he was tired of the lack of accountability for slacking with the stars) transfers and starts for a team that just won a conference championship.

There's deep trouble in river city. Time to clean house.

I highly doubt it. 1st winning 2 game in the BIG10 does not erase a season a failure and 7 years of mediocre basketball. As Moos has said he judges the body of work not a game or two or three. 2nd Moos recent comment says it all. If he honestly has no idea what he is going to do at this point and it is going to take us make or not making the NIT for him to figure it out, we have bigger problems. I am going to assume he is half way competent and already has his decision made.
So if he really has made up his mind to keep him it makes zero logical sense to wait to announce it until after the NIT. Just do it now put everyone's mind and ease and start thinking about next year. I believe if he had any intention of keep Miles he would have did it after we were eliminated from the BIG.
This leaves , he is going to fire Miles and wants to let him finish out the year. With a chance to make the NIT there is no point in firing him now and having coach less team play in the NIT. If we make the NIT, miles can finish out the year with his team, get a few more wins and go out on a high note. If we don't make the NIT he will be fired tomorrow and nothing lost having to wait a few extra days.

If Moos is going to pull the trigger, I sincerely hope he has his guy sewn up. These contract extensions narrow the field a little. ADs are doing their jobs of getting their guys locked down so they can't be pilfered. Instead of worrying who got extension, I guess we should be looking at who hasn't. I doubt moos will get left standing at the altar, but we'll see
