I'm agreeing with you. I'm saying "they are questioning you saying your other account was banned, like you would go out of your way to make something like that up and lie about it." What possible reason could you have for lying about your other account being banned by the board nannies?

Previous ownership left at the perfect time for me. Baseball and Masters are some of my favorite threads. And without #s I'm sure I won't be banned anymore.
Most of the "major" boards for other schools are either Rivals or independent, or so it seems. That option to visit other 247 boards, therefore, appears more attractive in theory than in substance.
Anyway, I've been pleasantly surprised with the quality of journalism from the new guys on this board.
Just change “The Knight Report” banner please! Screams amateur hour. Will bring back another 50 posters with that one move. People like shiny new things.

And it was pointed out you can visit other premium boards but can't post...so what's the big deal there? LOL Also said you couldn't do that on Rivals, which might be true for their premium stuff but I was always able to read AND post on other school free boards. Granted there are not that many of them left but I could when they existed.

that is absurd...I read that last weather thread you posted in and there is nothing to rose to the level of banning....you should email the new owners of the site. Good lord we know #s can be a little sensitive but this is too much

I don't see where he mentioned you being banned, or even implied that he was asking for you to be banned.

An admission he has done this before. And a little history. I was banned from a weather thread without ever posting in it.
You're right. There should've been a few weeks notice at least. It could've been teased without pissing off Rivals legally or otherwise, right?
I've been around here under several screen names since at least 2000 with Armor being my longest used name, though a board "outsider"all that time. IIRC, Rutgersfan.com was primarily a message board, then with SN and the move to Rivals it became much more than a message board with sports reporting, paywalled stuff/paywall board. Now SN is going to a bigger, eventually better platform for everything. I think the April Fool's switch is a big turning point for the whole board experience here (and over there too). I just hope it isn't a damaging turning point to that experience. The boards here have a rhythym and familiarity to them that has been deeply interrupted. It definitely doesn't feel the same to me than it was on March 31, even if we are posting about moles again.
The switch may have been great for scoop and newshounds, but not so sure about posters and post readers like me.

Or just get rid of the shield in its entirety and make the R a few points bigger so it kinda dominates.

I'm not going to lie ... the highlight of my year (the last 12 calendar months) has been that these guys left town in the dead of the night, the Mean Girls migrated with them, most people stayed here and now they are all miserable because the forum software at TOS sucks rocks. This is like Christmas in April.

If this was truly the highlight of your year, I feel sorry for you. This didn't even make a blip for me as a highlight (or lowlight, or medium-light) for last weekend.
