I wouldn’t really categorize Corey Evans as just 1 reporter. He and Evan Daniels are probably the two most connected dudes in college basketball. I pay attention to what they say. As for anything else, maybe you’ll be correct and his time table will stay on schedule. I’m just telling people what was reported yesterday. If you don’t like it, that’s fine.
I don't like it.

Link. Because, I can't find where he said this.

So why hold off on Sunday? What else are we waiting for? UK’s roster is set, and now it’s possible that he doesn’t even announce today. I’m just reading the tea leaves.
I don’t know where he will end up but I don’t think holding off on Sunday means a thing. It was said all along it would be Sunday or Monday. Now, if he ends up not announcing today, I would say our chances are slim.

I don’t put any stock in what kids or their mentors say. They will say they want to win then pick the worst choice like Georgia so they can get 38 minutes a game. In the end really comes down to how much he wants to play and how many shots he wants vs winning. UK is the best choice to win he will get 25-30 mpg and probably be the 3rd-4th scoring option. Or he can go to a solid team with sweet 16 hopes and be the first or second option. I think it’s Baylor which is but I could easily see him going to UK.

I think it's Baylor. He's from Houston, Baylor is very good next year (probably #1 or 2 if they land him), they need someone exactly like him. It's a better fit than it is at UK.

We should find out soon enough.

Arkansas was ranked 10th in their own conference (SEC). They are not a threat and also lost 5 seniors.

This is true, but it's mostly due to a stretch where Arkansas went 1-5 after Isaiah Joe got hurt. They were projected to sneak into the tournament before that. Have a top 5 recruiting class coming in along with 3 transfers now eligible that sat out last year. Lunardi has us as an 8-9 seed next year but a guy like Williams might bump that into around a 6. I don't think he picks us though. We actually only lost three seniors, but had another player transfer and then Mason Jones entered the draft so it's 5 departures total. Picked up ESPN's #15 and #33 ranked grad transfers to replace the latter two.

It's definitely going to be a lot different roster next year with 9 total new players.

Pick your choice. You can explain why if you choose.

I think he picks UK because we offer the likelier path to the NBA, final four and we have the best winning culture.

How about none above and stays in the NBA draft

Seems doubtful considering he has met with college coaches from the 4 schools multiple times. Seems like someone very likely to stay in school at least another year.

i agree, I think the longer a decision gets pushed out the less chance UK has but that is strictly a "gut" feeling based in no facts.

I hope he chooses Kentucky. We need some closure after the Evansville debacle last season and get their best player to come here would certainly help.

I’m thinking that he was a heavy lean towards us, but now thinking about skipping school altogether.
We still don’t even know for sure that we are going to have a season.
The NBA will be more likely to play than colleges. The G League would seem to be a preferable option than not playing at all. I still do think that there will be a college basketball season, but it is not a given. I think at his age, he may be thinking about that after the NCAA’s recent statement about no sports if kids aren’t on campus.

In the interviews with his old coach, he portrayed it that Williams was a competitor. A competitor that's sure of himself isn't afraid of competition like Ware and Jackson.

I thought that he was going to be a Wildcat but after yesterday and today and finding out that he's having a hard time, I don't think he's going to choose UK. Nobody in their right mind would have a hard time choosing between UK and little ole Memphis, Arkansas, and freaking Baylor without someone or people in their ear. He'll get plenty of minutes/playing time here as well. He's better than Brooks/Ware/Jackson right now, I'm sorry but he is, in my opinion. This is not that hard of a decision unless you're getting pressured by your circle.

There's only 1 coach on his list that has platooned his teams to ensure everyone got adequate playing time. This really shouldn't be that hard of a choice if you really want to win and have the best chance to get to the next level. No other school has done more of either.

Spot on. We have no one like him on the roster. Physically yes, skills no. If comes and does what Cal tells him, he'd get 30 minutes a game.

House of blue has their fair share of idiots. Just because people pay doesn’t make them any less idiotic. So many people there pretend to have sources while seeking validation. I’d argue HOB is worse than rafters, per capita.

Also, the play on “retard” is outdated and ignorant.

Pretty much anyone using that word nowadays is too far gone to be helped.

Nice. You just stick to being politically correct.

Oh, and name one trusted source on “rafters.”
I’ll be waiting all day.
