I still dont think its too far fetched in year 3 that he wins the west.. that has always been the minimum i think should happen.. every division Nebraska has played in seems to be pretty weak.. overall. Really beat iowa and wisconsin. 2 losses still wins tbe west i believe.. the only acceptable loss on this years schedule imho is osu and penn state

4 years minimum is my standard for any coach absent a scandal. That said, I think the new AD will want to cut him loose even if the team somehow pulls out 7 wins....... if he is cut after an 8 win season, especially after this start, the new AD will have to take considerable heat and Nebraska will take another PR pounding.

I voted, win the west.
I was full of optimism for this season. I was getting in arguments with people about how we were going to turn the corner. Finally able to run his system, showed nads getting rid of poor coaching performers, and a perceived talent at QB.

Now, I'm sorry to say, I've lost confidence in Riley as a competitive coach.
