The program’s 3 best players in recent seasons transferred out.Pike isn’t getting fired, stop it
We could lose every game the rest of the year and he wouldn’t be fired. The program’s 3 best players in recent seasons transferred out.

Do you think if they win 2 or 3 conference games he shouldn’t get pink slipped? We could lose every game the rest of the year and he wouldn’t be fired.
Doesn’t matter what I think or what you think. He turned the program around and he won’t get fired for one bad year… now I do think it’s possible if we are equally as bad next yearDo you think if they win 2 or 3 conference games he shouldn’t get pink slipped?

This times a million. A recruiting failureIt’s hard not to like the man but his overly optimistic preseason comments have rubbed many the wrong way.
He needed to keep JY here and couldn’t
Who is going to come that will be better?
You definitely rode the short bus as a kidThe program looks hapless and hopeless right now.
Turn the keys over to Knight?
18-15 right now , Baghdad BobYou definitely rode the short bus as a kid
Can’t be a bad poll when the votes were very close Baghdad BobThis obviously worst poll question ever. OP sounds like a petulant Veruca Salt. “Yes yes daddy I understand Pike took the program to the ncaas for the first time in 30 years but 6 games later things look bad and it should be changed NOW daddy!”
More a reflection of “win now” plus “instant gratification” plus overreaction common amongst all types of fans. Can’t be a bad poll when the votes were very close Baghdad Bob
You know better than to say that. The test of a poll is not whether it's close but whether it has a representative sample, and no internet poll does because the voters self-select. It's really scary to think that 45% of Rutgers fans would want to do something as stupid as fire a coach who for two straight years gave Rutgers its greatest success in a *long* time. Can’t be a bad poll when the votes were very close Baghdad Bob
You're a snowflake and make so many idiotic comments, it's funny to read. Toughen up and have some faith in your team. If you didn't see positives in the 17 point lead yesterday, then you just have an axe to grind. And the same goes for the other gloom and doomers. It’s hard not to like the man but his overly optimistic preseason comments have rubbed many the wrong way.

Unbelievable! The bottom line is that we lost. What good is a 17 point lead if we cannot hold it.You're a snowflake and make so many idiotic comments, it's funny to read. Your question reflects the perception of Rutgers and why its so difficult to attract to attract top tier recruits especially in NJ.Who is going to come that will be better?
He shouldn't. You go to the tourney and win one game and you're allowed to drive the program into a ditch for 3 years? Our recruiting is worse than Jordan level right nowHe'll get two more seasons, I think. I am not optimistic that those seasons will be anything other than horrible. He simply is a very poor recruiter.
Is the team capable of improving or not? It sounds like you've given up on them.Unbelievable! The bottom line is that we lost. What good is a 17 point lead if we cannot hold it.
Nothing over the first part of this season points to improvement that could lead to a successful season. There is nothing on the coaching, defense, offense or rebounding that makes me think a miraculous turnaround could happen .Is the team capable of improving or not? Ok, we disagree. The way they played to get the 17 point lead and the past history of the returning guys makes me believe in a "turnaround". And if they get it together, it wouldn't be a miracle, just continued development.Nothing over the first part of this season points to improvement that could lead to a successful season. Please stop. Myles Johnson's transfer was not on Pike. He was homesick and he was looking for a top graduate engineering program. Don't get me wrong. Rutgers is top notch, but UCLA is clearly better for his chosen field. The program’s 3 best players in recent seasons transferred out.
