I’ll be rooting hard for the cats of course and we can beat anyone when we are clicking but have a feeling the end is tomorrow. This team just ain’t built right. I really wonder what the outcome would have been last night if Oscar had 15 rebounds instead of 25. Hope I eat my words and it is March and anything can happen. 😊

Kansas State is the better team, plays in a better league, & has much better wins. KSU by 12.
Lol you said last night Kstate by 3 now it jumps to 12 😂. The 50/50 games I felt good about this year was Michigan, at Ark, A@M. We won those. I say UK by 4 68-64. Feel pretty good about the Cats here.

It's got to be the whole health issue that keeps Keyontae Johnson from being a lottery-top 20 pick. That dude is an instant contributor to whatever NBA team he ends up. He'll be the best all around player on the court. Nowell can get to the rim any time he wants against pretty much anyone guarding him.

Im guessing Toppin will be the one guarding Johnson. Cason will have his hands full with Nowell. Maybe, UK held out Wheeler so he'd have another couple of days although it does seem like hes done. We will know for sure soon.

This will also be a matchup for K-State where they will miss having Lampkin. Oscar should have a great game. If UK can shoot 42-45% from the floor I think we win. If we shoot under 40% I think K-State will move on.

It's time to be all in. Got all summer to be bitches, the tournament is fleeting.
We owe them one, most likely blocked us from a FF. We are 9-1 against them all time and beat them for a championship too. Typically this type of team we don't lose to, and we are unlikely to have that poor of an offensive performance two games in a row.

Agree it’s a tossup. Just my personal pick.

May have won by more if he had 15 boards, check out how many boards were on offensive end. Just think if we had Bobby Perry's and Sheray Thomas's instead of Oscar. I hate the scenario, we wouldn't have won of Anthony Davis didn't play. No ****!That could be said about every single team who won a championship

Surely Saltycat is going for the reverse jinx. We need all the superstitious folks to step up tomorrow. Lucky socks/shirts/underwear, make your wife stay in the kitchen, if someone goes to the bathroom and we start hitting shots they gotta stay until we miss one, etc.

Anyone can win these games but this team truly can lose to anyone on a given day so who knows what will happen tomorrow.

11 offensive rebounds & 14 defensive. Also many of those were some really tough rebounds where he was snatching it from 2-3 defenders and helping us get 2nd chance opportunities

I picking UK by 1, we need to play better all around, but we have to be really good defensively.

Dunno. To me this team is gonna be a toss up for now. We just don’t run a good offense and we pray for jacked up 2’s. Eventually trying to win from an offense board off a jump shot isn’t gonna work. Hope that’s not this weekend.

I don’t trust this team. We didn’t play well most of last night. I think KSU by 6. 67-61.
KSU didn’t exactly blow out Montana State last night. We can beat these guys…… OTOH, I could see us losing as well; but the fan in me thinks we’ll win by the same score.

If UK makes threes we win. I think it’s that simple.

Someone other than Reeves HAS to step up though. Everyone other than Reeves is a combined 7 of 44 from three the last four games.

They're a 3 and we're a 6 but it seems like we got them. Feels more like a 2 vs 3 game.

We need Fredrick to remember how to shoot. And Wallace to do something offensively. Even if it’s just hitting the runner in the lane that should open others up.

here's the real kicker

all those threads about how we have to have Wheeler to play to beat Providence - when people thought he was ready to play

what happens if he plays and we lose to Kansas St?

They sent that jerk in to ref our game against them in Atlanta in the sweet 16. Jobbed us.

The same guy who has the YouTube video discussing how refs control the games.

That nun knows we got robbed - albeit to pave the way for her school - maybe she thinks we are owed one.

Since I picked Duke and Arizona to have deep tourney runs, let me a pick K State to win on Sunday to keep my hot streak going.
