Dr. Gragg publicly announced he plans to extend CCC. I think Triple-C has 2 years left on his current deal.

How many years should we extend Triple-C for?

I voted for 3 years to get him to a well-deserved 5. The market is trending to looonnnnggg extensions and it's a trend I don't like.

3 years gives him enough time to sell stability to recruits and build another tourney team, but not too long to have our hands tied.

3 years. I,ve heard he has 2 years left (nothing ci firmed).

With core coming back, adding 3 freshmen and maybe a transfer, that give 2 solid years where they should be competitive.. Defense should be better, Hopefully Strauss is a knock down shooter.

2024/2025 classes are huge to keep it going.

We have no idea if the core of Buie Audige and Behran are coming back. And the guys coming in are not rated that highly. Under normal circumstances, 3 might be enough but with what was done to recruiting, might require 5. Also he might be considered a pretty hot commodity so that might also necessitate a couple more years just to seal the deal.

I voted for 3 years as well.

5+ years would be a mistake, as would be anything in the 10 year total range.

5 years left on his contract - with a nice raise - allows him to look all recruits in the eye and assure them he’ll be their coach for their entire collegiate career. Hopefully we’ll recruit some all stars who go pro sooner, but we must remain realistic.
