This team!

They never seem to get flustered. They never let it affect their play when they get behind, the crowd does not affect them, they are awesome.

That said I wish we could run the D better. Indiana expertly handled our switching D and ran our bigs all around. They got into the paint almost at will. I am sure K is working the man to man because his philosophy is a well run man to man is the best defense and he is getting ready for down the road. However, this team really disrupts other teams with the zone.

Bolden's stats were low but I felt I needed to put him in the poll because he had some important hustle plays which set the tone for this team late.

Went with Grayson myself. Thought he did a really nice job last night picking his spots. I loved his leadership and how he embraced Bolden after making that big diving play. Making sure that didn’t go unnoticed right away. He’s our leader out there.

Went with Carter....BUT could have easily gone with Allen...OR Bagley.

Really, really liked what Bolden was doing on the court. Coach K gave him props for diving on the loose ball at the end. Thought it really sparked the defense at the end. Put it up there with Allen’s dig for the ball against Wisconsin.

Really hope he keeps that up.

Difference between Carter and Bagley that I see is. Carter looks and plays like an uber talented freshman. Bagley just plays like he’s uber talented.

Tough pick because it was a great team win. You could almost say Bagley or Grayson every game. Grayson had a quite 21 with great efficiency and hit some big shots. I thought Bagley was critical on offense. But, Carter was and is so solid. His rebounding, defense, and inside scoring are great. Went with him.

I also appreciate you putting Bolden down. I considered him. Bagley could not handle Davis on the blocks. Carter did well with him. But, I thought Bolden really was the key defensively on Carter. He hindered his getting the ball; altered shots on guard drives that missed. Really great to see him get some burn in the 2nd half.

This team has serious potential.

Nice putting Bolden in....I wish there was a way to measure grit in a box score.

Grayson. Carter was so solid though down low. He has to be more careful with fouls, but Bolden was also strong. Like mentioned before, him diving on the floor down one was huge. Staff will show that to him and team and big fella will get some love when replayed for everyone.
Allen though because he's so freaking unselfish. He was the assassin again, and only took 12 shots. I said it in another thread but he is such a leader and I think his teammates love him. Without him, we go nowhere.

What a great "team" effort. The "refuse to lose" mentality these kids have is a joy to watch.
I am going with Grayson for the game ball, mainly because of the way he has embraced the leadership role for this team, the way he held everyone together last night, and the way he stepped up in "crunch time". I found myself yelling @ the TV last night late in the game for him to step up, and did he ;)!
He is such an unselfish player, I just hope he gets rewarded for his efforts.
Go Duke!

This was a tough one. I could make a case for 3 or 4 guys, but there was just something about Carter last night. He could SO EASILY be over shadowed by Bags, and get caught up standing around watching, but he doesn't. I thought he played with so much power and intensity last night so I went with him......but again, I think there are several "correct" answers for this one.

I went with Bolden:

- I'm just rooting so hard for the kid
- His diving on the floor steal I thought honestly could be a turning point for his career. Could be that big, you know K and staff took note of that play.
- Helped us survive Carters foul trouble.
- Also based off of exceeding expectations. I've come to expect the performances from Bagley/Grayson. Bolden's hustle and solid D was (hopefully for not much longer) unexpected.

I went with the big fella Bolden. When he dove to the floor it was as if he was telling Coah K I get it, I know what you need from me now. Great effort from the big guy.

Gave it to Carter. He had a strong game.Grayson was Grayson & Bagley was Bagley! When all three have that type game we are tough to handle. This team plays with no panic no matter the situation. They are special!!!
