Only one person since coach K has had a 30 point 20 rebound game. How anybody says this kid should be less than a number 1 pick is beyond me.

Marvin.

Marvin Bagley. Get him the ball every single possession. Seriously, do it. We have a tendency to do this the first half and then play nothing but 3 ball in the second half.

I’ve been really harsh on Duval this year, but the kid was huge in this game. Yes, Bagley is the best player every game but Duval won this game in the 2nd half with awesome defense and huge plays. Reminded me of what Grayson did against Texas to bring us back despite foul trouble. Gave Grayson the game ball then and giving Trevon the game ball today.

These kids are growing up.

Ok. Don’t shoot me for this, but can I say no one?? Obviously Bagley did something that’s never happened under K. But.......we gave up 93 at home. After all this time to practice our defense and nothing changed. If we play any kind of defense, in every game so far, we win them all by 20 plus. We are unstoppable offensively. It’s incredible, but until they play defense, I’m not willing to give out individual awards.

32 and 21 speaks for itself.. Bags is a machine!

Props to duval for taking Over the last few minutes... that’s a confidence boost!

Also to our 4 frosh.... playing those crunch time minutes with 4 fouls and making sure not to draw that 5th was huge!
One play that sticks out to me in regards to our young guys not picking up their 5th foul was when Bagley was going up for a rebound but when he realized that he wasn’t going to be able to get the rebound without going over the back and committing a foul he backed off and went on defense

I remember that and thought the same thing. Showed a lot of poise and good basketball sense in a short time to make a decision . OFC

Great point!! Not bad for an 18-19 year old to realize that

well Florida State has a good offense PLUS they made 15 3s. A lot where contested at that. We won a game wear we shot below 30% from 3 and barely 60% from the line. That's very impressive

Also Trevon (with 4 fouls) went for a steal (less than 2 minutes I think) and almost got it, but pulled back at the last second just when I thought he was going to try to push through the guy's hand and get called for it. That was a smart play...'cause we needed him on the floor.

I remember that play too and I agree it was a smart play on his part as well

Bagley.

Side note....felt like I hit 32 clunky wedges today and two-putted 21 times on the front.

What a gutsy performance down the stretch by this young team! All four Freshmen with 4 fouls on them, and still aggressive. Game ball has to go to "Bags" for his monster performance!
Go Duke!

As has been said above by many, it has to go to Marvin but Tre with an assist. He was excellent down the stretch.

I went with Tre. Marvin had a historic game, but Tre made winning plays towards the end to seal the win.

I went with Tre because his play was unexpected. Marvin's double-doubles are expected and I'm glad we got him when we did.

How crazy is it that Carter had 16 rebounds and it's not even talked about because of what Bagley did? I don't remember it being mentioned in the broadcast and didn't realize it until I looked at this thread. Impressive numbers from all the starters.
