Best political outcome for the Dems would be for Kavanuagh to be confirmed. Why?

A) There will not be an subsequent judge nominated that is less ideological than Kavanaugh and possibly more as a FU. Nothing to gain from the bench.

B) They get to enjoy any potential further November fallout from 11 old men sticking to their guns and pissing off suburban woman. GOP brand further type cast as vestige of days gone by.

Really no upside for Kavanaugh to be voted down. Votes his *** in and let the chips fall as they may.

Any woman who watched todays fiasco would have to admit that Kavanaugh was set up by the Dim sham party and vote Repub ...

They don't vote him in and Trump gets someone way more conservative post mid-terms, and they lose Joe's seat.

They vote him in and they at least have a rally cry for the mid-terms, and probably save Joe's seat.

Simple fact of the matter is, they blew the whole thing by sitting on the Ford allegation and attempting to force an FBI "investigation", hoping to get past the midterm.

And the fact that groups have already registered URL's for the next SCOTUS pick, goes to show where the Senate is heading from here on out. The Left better pray Ginsburg survives until the 2020 elections.
