So for all the people who don’t understand how basic civics works, you can’t revoke a law by executive order. A bill that is signed into law can only be revoked by the legislative branch, or it can be struck down as unconstitutional by the judicial branch.
An executive order can be revoked by another executive order.
The civil rights act of 1965 was signed into law. It cannot be revoked by executive order. The fact that people don’t understand just that basic concept is very scary.
Donald Trump revoked an executive order on affirmative action signed by Lyndon B. Johnson in 1965.
