Nash out of high school was rated the best overall heavy weight in the country. He could go undefeated and win the NCAA heavy weight division if he sets his mind to it. Never underestimate this young man!

Yep, very good football player but elite wrestler. If he committed to wrestling, would not be surprised if he was an Olympian. Happy he’s able to do both.

I really hope Rhule wins and stays awhile. Guy just seems to bring good vibes to our entire athletic program.

jeesh 17-17 major dec at HVY both teams received a team penalty UNI is tough a team and just a tough match up

tie breaker --Huskers but they will drop in rankings imo

No time for optimal recovery between seasons

There is a reason why NFL players have stipulations in their contracts that prevents them from doing stupid **** like this

We need to decide if our football program is closer to an nfl type program or North Dakota high school football

This wrestling decision would suggest we are a lot closer to a high school operation than a program that takes football seriously.

I hope Polar Bear can perfect the claw hold like this wrestler on the 1960-62 teams. Incidentally, Jim Raschke also played tackle on the football team.

He should AA though, maybe high AA.

Doubt it, as they add team points at hwt, and no Pinto tonight

If Nash does well through the wrestling season and gets back up to 300-310ish for the fall, anyone see the potential for a Sapp type season from him in the fall??

he's from north, his sister was the principle at adams school

No. He's not quick. We saw that going back to his HS film. He relies on strength and size to win matchups, and he's going to be negating a lot of that at a smaller size.

He will maul and have the strength at 310-315 but think the explosiveness that he can have will be able to be used more at that size.
