"Hillary Clinton has pneumonia, her doctor said Sunday, hours after the Democratic nominee stumbled and exited a 9/11 commemoration ceremony early."

http://www.webmd.com/lung/tc/pneumonia-symptoms

Having a long-term, or chronic, disease like asthma, heart disease, cancer, or diabetes also makes you more likely to get pneumonia.

In healthy people, pneumonia can be a mild illness that is hardly noticed and clears up in 2 to 3 weeks. In older adults and in people with other health problems, recovery may take 6 to 8 weeks or longer.

If your pneumonia is caused by a virus or bacteria, you may spread the infection to other people while you are contagious. How long you are contagious depends on what is causing the pneumonia and whether you get treatment. You may be contagious for several days to a week.

The faster you get treatment, the faster you will get over pneumonia. This is especially true for the very young, for people older than 65, and for anyone with other long-lasting (chronic) health problems, such as asthma.

In a report that was released in July 2015(PDF), Bardack wrote, "Mrs. Clinton is a healthy 67-year-old female whose current medical conditions include hypothyroidism and seasonal pollen allergies. Her past medical history is notable for a deep vein thrombosis in 1998 and in 2009, an elbow fracture in 2009 and a concussion in 2012. ..."

Clinton was advised in 1998 to take blood-thinning medications to prevent deep vein thrombosis blood clots when she traveled on long-distance flights, Bardack wrote.

Along with taking blood-thinning medication, Clinton takes medication for hypothyroidism, a condition in which her thyroid gland is underactive and doesn't produce enough important hormones, according to Bardack's report.

Clinton's health history also includes a bone fracture. She stumbled at the State Department in summer 2009 and fractured her right elbow. The injury resulted in her having to undergo a two-hour surgery, which was deemed successful.

Then, in December 2012, Clinton suffered a stomach virus after traveling and fainted, which caused her to suffer a concussion, according to Bardack's report. In follow-up evaluations, she was found to have a transverse sinus venous thrombosis-- in other words, a blood clot in the brain. The clot later dissolved.

A concussion is a brain injury, explained Dr. Sanjay Gupta, CNN chief medical correspondent and a practicing neurosurgeon.

"What we've heard from her medical note is, looking at the follow-up, there would be some concern, but she's been tested and there's no long-term impact from her brain and the blood clot has resolved," he said.

She might have a bone spur that causes cowardice and a feeling of superiority over U.S. soldiers.

"Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump not only doesn’t contribute any of his own money to his charity The Trump Foundation, he also used $20,000 of donor money to buy a six-foot painting of himself."

That's a nice painting.

Just to recap here so I understand:
1. Trump's charity is worse than Hillary's charity despite serious coincidences of pay to play while she was in office.

2. Trump doesn't donate to his own charity, so that's worse than only 7% of several $100 million a year charity going towards the charity's stated missions. The other 93% goes towards operating expenses. Hell of an operation the Clinton's manage.

3. Trump thinks he is smarter than our military leaders. Hillary just allows them to die.
Mmmmkay.

I might look into having one of those done for myself. Wonderful piece of art.

Where in the hell did you get all that? I wasn't talking about Hillary except to make a sarcastic comment about Donnie's cowardice. You got some serious Hillary on the brain.

I thought it was illegal to have a charity that only contributes that small of an amount to charity. Only 10 % should go to operating and that should be a standard everywhere.

When I first heard report of Clinton tax return I thought WHAT KIND OF ***** DEAL IS THIS? 97% of their donations was to Clinton Charity. They pay their travel and friendly payroll out of Clinton Charity.

Damned sweet deal to pay yourself and daughter salary and travel expense to yourself and get a tax deduction. Only Clintons think they are so entitled, and I am beginning to believe it is an entitlement they enjoy for living in US because no one corrects them.

"Hillary Clinton has pneumonia, her doctor said Sunday, hours after the Democratic nominee stumbled and exited a 9/11 commemoration ceremony early."

I read a couple hypotheses from doctors last night that she wasn't showing symptoms of pneumonia, but observations of her over time is more in line with Parkinson's, and Parkinson's treatment symptoms. Time will tell.

They came out real quick with pneumonia after the video of her collapsing came out.

My wife has a theory that Hillary is a long-term smoker, based on the wrinkling around her mouth, particularly her upper lip - she says she sees it all the time in older women who come into the store where she works to buy cigarettes.

Not a sure test. Wife smoked up to 3 packs per day. I started her smoking when we went to college. She couldn't/wouldn't quit before she died at 73. Never developed wrinkles in her face. Or perhaps she was the exception to the rule. In the end, the eye color was close to Hillary's from a much darker blue in younger years.

Hillary Clinton will return to the campaign trail Thursday, spokesman Nick Merrill said.

The Democratic nominee, who was recently diagnosed with pneumonia, spent Tuesday at her home in Chappaqua, New York, where she watched President Barack Obama's stump speech in Philadelphia on her behalf, Merrill said. She has no events Wednesday.
"She has spent the day catching up on reading briefings, making calls, and she watched President Obama's speech in Philadelphia on TV," he said.

Clinton was initially eyeing a return to the campaign trail as soon as Wednesday, with aides scouting for a location to deliver a possible speech on the economy. But as the day wore along Tuesday, a person close to the campaign said, it became clear that Clinton would rest for at least one more day.

At her Chappaqua home on Tuesday, where a small group of reporters stood watch, she received six floral deliveries throughout the day. At her Brooklyn headquarters, campaign aides declined to speak about Clinton's health condition.

Clinton told CNN's Anderson Cooper on Monday that she intended to return to her campaign schedule "in the next couple of days."

She is now scheduled to appear before the Congressional Hispanic Caucus meeting on Thursday night in Washington. Although that was the first scheduled event, aides said an earlier campaign stop is under consideration for Thursday.

Clinton abruptly left a September 11 commemoration ceremony Sunday after what her campaign said was an episode of "overheating." A video showed a wobbly Clinton stumbling as she was assisted into her van to depart the ceremony.

She then went to daughter Chelsea Clinton's apartment and later returned to her home in Chappaqua, where campaign manager Robby MooktoldCNN's Jake Tapper she was attended to by her doctor.

Clinton was diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday but decided to continue on the trail. The incident has prompted further scrutiny of her health and her campaign's transparency, and comes less than two months before Election Day and as polls show a tightening race.
