Yeah, I'm in the group that's wants UK to play them at some point sooner or later.

A title beating that group this year would be very fulfilling.

Syracuse is a shell of the very average team they were 3 weeks ago. They only won the first game in the ACCt because Pitt is just as pathetic.

Zion is athletic. We all knew that. But all Duke has done is transition and ZW on the offensive glass against a zone.

Don’t turn the ball over and put a body on him so he can’t jump freely. Do that and If they shoot their average % then any top 5 team will play them to single digits.

No he isn’t AD level. But that doesn’t mean Zion isn’t a great player. He is.

I want to see a rebounder get into Zions legs. Lower your base and put that butt into his legs when he jumps. Legally of course but I bet it would take some bounce out of that jump

People see Zion above the rim and think the 2 points he scores on a dunk are somehow worth more than 2 scored by someone else. Yes, he's special, but it does help to play solid defense and block out.

We’ll play them in the Elite 8 and no sooner. At that point, you’re going to have to beat a great team. Might as well take them out then and be the team that prevents our lord and savior from making a FF in his lone season. It’d be a pleasure if you ask me. The weeklong funeral on ESPN would be glorious.

Kids Zion's age are too timid against the bulk of Zion. While RT is no Zion he is man and Cal has had him for a season now. If UK plays duke u, I hope RT is playing too. I look for a different outcome now versus then. Man-o-man I think RT has what it takes. (Not in scoring but in manning up to Zion. Zion has NOT faced that yet. RT was green to Cal at the time they first played. Cal builds character in his players, K does not.)

I'm not saying they are absolutely terrible but they haven't really impressed me this game. Syracuse is just really bad tonight. If they turn the ball over like they are and shoot like normal, they ain't making the final four...maybe not even past the sweet sixteen. As UK fans should know, talent doesn't always mean championship.

well they are gonna beat UNC and so hopefully we can get the 1 in the south w/ UNC as our 2, then they are guaranteed to be on the other side of the bracket

Exactly. RT is physical and stout. If you put a body on him every time a shot goes up it makes it a lot harder to elevate.

The game will be won or loss based on if our back court takes care of the ball when Duke is allowed to bump and hack on the perimeter.

F Dook and F being scared of them. The Cuse is horrible and missing Battle. Buddy is out there. Without Zion Dook is garbage and has shown it in this game as well against a really **** team. Dook 11 TOs already. I will take Dook E8 or FF or whenever. Get Zion in foul trouble and they are dead. Plus I have seen games where he has his hands on his knees late in games. You can't be scared of him you have to attack him.

Agreed, plus with no Bolden, to add to Duke’s front court, they can be really aggressive on Zion. They will miss Bolden more than people know.
