Indiana has one of if not the biggest sports journalism programs in the country. They churn out alot of beat writers.
I thought the guy did really well. But oh my god that lebby part was the worst thing to listen too. Whatever high pitched drone gong on in the background almost drove me insane.
I have not listened to T&L much this week so I know not of this Yankee intrusion. I generally don't listen when things are shiitt (swept) but I will later in the week as I have processed the pain.
An Indiana fan is not my first choice but... if he is knowledgeable about State sport, follows the team and gives information about what's happening with State sports all the while bringing an entertaining aspect, I will listen. That is a lot to ask but he is getting a lot of big bucks right? At least, he gets exposure and an opportunity to hone his craft.
Hadad brings the fandom so I will not worry about the podcast being slanted against State anymore than he already does with his negativity. When he becomes the voice of hope then everything has already gone sideways.

I thought he did fine. If multiple candidates are receiving trial runs, I hope they all get a Rumblings episode.
Why are 2 hosts needed anyway, especially another one that will be gone in another year because he works at a very small market tv station and will obviously want to move up asap? I have never seen him that I know of so don't have an opinion of talent, just know he will be gone in no time
I do think the show works better with a co-host but I do agree it needs to be someone where you can get years out of them like he did with Bob, Joel and Robbie. I worry that Barone will be gone in a year.
We are not a stepping stone podcast program!!! We deserve better.
Oh please give us one week of Rumblings with Stingray. We can end this charade once and for all.
I thought Carlo did fine also. I'd prefer to have a long-term cohost but if it is a stepping stone and the young man can elevate his career more power to him as long as Thunder and Lightning lives on.
I think that podcast needs two hosts for sure. Hadad does a great job. but it is more interesting with another State fan boy who really gets it to banter with. I really hope they find an actual State person to fill the spot.
I miss ole Bob Carscadden. He was a nerdy guy who loved state and worked well with Brian. We need a true state fan on this podcast, not some media guy where it doesn't run in his blood.
Hadad with cohosts is like Wooderson from Dazed and Confused.
