Sadly, I’m seeing reports he died. Heartbreaking and senseless! I’m so angry. Who shoots someone because you disagree with them! Pure evil!
People that hate others for not agreeing with them and care more about activism and agendas than life.

The Pharisees hated the Lord Jesus because he didn’t fit their self righteous agenda.

Saw the video. Don't see how anyone could have survived that shooting. It was VERY graphic.

As someone who has very strong negative feelings for Charlie Kirk because of the hate rhetoric he has spewed, I do not support what happened to him in any way. This sets an extremely dangerous precedent for the US moving forward, and I feel genuinely awful for what his family must be going through.
Please offer one spec of proof of hate rhetoric or shut up.

Never denied that there were people celebrating. I said I doubt his feed was full of that but I am not surprised there are examples. The middle one from Andrew Lawrence was from yesterday and a commentary on how Kirk is trying to handwave away the Epstein stuff
Spencer shut the uck up!

I didn't mean to imply that it's not out there, you can find that kinda crap.
But anyone who believes this is representative of the left is just looking for anything to justify their hatred of the left. (I say this as someone who still considers themselves a moderate right... which to many now seems to mean I'm left...)
I wouldn’t at all go as far to say it’s representative of the left in general, but it’s also a more prevalent stance than you may want to believe, especially among younger generations. I also say this as a moderate right who does not “hate the left”

The Minnesota assassin was described by a friend as a conservative. The person who shot the school in Minneapolis was transgender but they were also associated with the satanic neo-Nazi group Order of 9 Angels and hate messages targeting Trump and racial minorities (using slurs) on their equipment. They were a deeply unwell individual.

I won't mention the shootings you glossed over. Brother you need to late go of the hate in your heart. It will eat you up.
They?

Nah you ain’t paying attention.. If you can see how these people act when they executed that insurance CEO..Their was a study done not to long ago where close to 50% of 35 and below democrats think assignation of someone you don’t agree with politicaly is justified.. Digest that..
What's wrong with an occasional assignation?

As·sig·na·tion
/ˌasiɡˈnāSH(ə)n/

noun

  1. 1.
an appointment to meet someone in secret, typically one made by lovers.
"his assignation with an older woman"

Yeah I wanna see a quote him saying any kind of hateful rhetoric!! The only ones that spew that are the liberals who tell their people to do it!!
That’s not gonna take much effort. This is a tragedy. And it’s even more tragic that nearly everyone in this thread is taking the bait and becoming even more divided which is only going to lead to more violence. Clearly some folks (you can find some in this thread) are looking for a fight and not afraid to become violent.

If you know anything about enemy states, you know that their goal with misinformation is to divide this country. We are so much weaker when we are divided like we currently are than at any point in modern history. The response by so many that you want to kill liberals because a conservative pundit got shot is so disappointing. Where does that end?

The challenge with Kirk is that he peddled a lot of that misinformation. It could be because he felt it’s true. It also could be that he considered himself an entertainer and was just saying what he thought his audience would want to hear. Or it could be that his financial backers wanted him to say those things and that he was just a soldier in their army.

He said some awful things about Black people, immigrants, women, transgenders, and yes, liberals. Much of it was false. He did not believe in empathy. And for him to claim to be so religious, he certainly didn’t act like a good Christian.

I feel for his kids. what happened today is wrong and we to take action to reduce violence in this country. But the enemies of our democratic country are going to use this to create an even bigger divide, and we ALL will lose if we can’t work together. Stop defining yourself by your ideology and start thinking rationally about what policies will get this country back on track. This isn’t red vs blue and we shouldn’t accept it.

You should post more. Your distinctive writing style pairs well with your political outlook. Tell me, do you favor overalls as an everyday outfit, or just for special occasions?

I posted this in another thread, and will paraphrase it here......

I don't think you understand that to half the country he spewed hate and lies. That, to summarize the problem, is what the national division has come to. You are convinced, in this incident, that you see nothing wrong in his rhetoric", and others (like me) see the same thing you are, but come to a completely different conclusion. We might as well be speaking different languages.
It's one thing to debate national policy, or competing economic theories, but we're to the point that national discourse is just hate between people from different planets.

Please just link ONE video of where he spewed hate. Just ONE is all we are asking. You might be able to find a meme where someone post his pictures and then says "this is what Charlie Kirk said". But I don't believe old Abe Lincoln when he said "everything you read on the internet is true".

I’ve never heard of him until today, so he couldn’t be super polarizing/hateful or I feel like he would be more famous.

tell us a hateful thing he said. you typed many words yet said nothing.
On his radio show Thursday, Charlie Kirk advocated for the creation of a ‘citizen force’ to be sent to the U.S.-Mexico border to protect against the ‘invasion’ of the country by Haitian refugees and prevent the “diminishing and decreasing [of] white demographics in America.’”

After years of pretending to agree with MLK, Kirk denounced him in front of students at America Fest, claiming “we made a huge mistake when we passed the Civil Rights Act in the 1960s.’”

“I’m sorry. If I see a Black pilot, I’m going to be like, ‘Boy, I hope he’s qualified.’”

“The ‘Great Replacement’ is not a theory, it’s a reality.” — posted on his Instagram (Feb 23, 2024).

Conservative commentator and activist Charlie Kirk told a 14-year-old girl to think about finding a husband when she asked for his advice about attending college.

[O]ne of the TPUSA summit’s corporate sponsors is a Christian fashion company that is led by a registered sex offender, Shawn Bergstrand, who served time in federal prison for attempted "coercion and enticement" after trying to persuade "a minor female" to "engage in sexual activity."

Last month, Kirk devoted a chunk of his podcast to honoring the influential evangelical pastor John MacArthur, who passed away on July 14 at the age of 86. Kirk called him “one of the most influential Protestant minds since the Reformation,” and a “legend” who “never bowed to the gods of this age” and “never apologized for Scripture.” Soaring language — but it’s a euphemism. One of MacArthur’s most famous old-fashioned beliefs was that slavery was godly.

In 2001, MacArthur delivered an infamous sermon at his California megachurch. He argued that Black people are cursed by God to be “servile people” who are “doomed to perpetual slavery.” There have been twisted efforts to rationalize what he said here, but the context of his entire sermon made his meaning quite clear. He’s invoking an argument that white Southerners used in the 19th century, claiming Black people were descended from the biblical figure of Canaan, Noah’s grandson, who is cursed by God in the Book of Genesis to be a “servant of servants.” MacArthur claimed the descendants of Canaan populated Africa and carried this curse with them.

“We have more single women in their early 30’s that are the most depressed, suicidal, anxious, and lonely in America’s history because there’s a biological clock that’s going off and they realize that they’re not going to be able to have kids, that they’re not as desirable in the dating market or in the dating pool and so they start to lash out on the rest of society by voting democrat.”

, Misinformation to who you? Talking about God isn't misinformation, telling the truth about what a man is and a woman is isn't misinformation, what isn't the lefts truth is always misinformation right? The misinformation comes from the Democratic side ,they have spewed so much rhetoric and hate they've brainwashed the people to put of target on anyone that tells the truth ,are doesn't fit their nerative. They have so much hate towards Republicans they try and have succeeded in taking away an American who loved this Country,God, and his family . All because he loved Trump. , He loved God ,and spoke the Truth, yet the Media and people like yourself claiming he spewed Hate?? Why because he spoke of what a Man and Woman is? And there's no such thing as a Transgender? Because he talked about freedom of speech? Your lefty media caused this ,they call for this political violence , and now talk like he deserves that? 2 assination attempts on Trump ,they didn't succeed, now they did succeed on Charlie ,guess they had to get the next best thing a True American ,who believed in God, Family ,and His country and free speech. ,I' m sorry I can careless what liberal I offend , or anyone that don't like what I said. I condemn political violence of any kind, against either party ,but when you have the far left media and the Democratic party promoting it this is what Happens, The try to take out Republicans and unfortunately they succeeded today! Today is why If your eligible to carry do it protect yours and your family . You should have Gun control ,that means and should be toward mental unstable citizens ,not take Guns from Law biden Americans who have the right to bear arms. And again the question I asked is to show proof of his hateful rhetoric that no one has produced? Because there isn't any.
