In C-1 there are so many variables, it is impossible to predict now. After this week the variables get a lot less, but even in week 9, something crazy always happens that screws up the best predictions. Last year Milford beat C2 Doniphan Trumbull and knocked a strong 6-3 Lakeview team out of the playoffs.

In the bracket was released this morning it would look like

*District Champs

#1 Adams Central*
#16 Boys Town*

#2 Wahoo*
#15 Cozad

#3 Pierce*
#14 Chase County

#4 Ashland-Greenwood*
#13 Valentine

#5 Kearney Catholic
#12 Wayne

#6 Scotus
#12 Ord

#7 Gothenburg*
#11 Aurora*

#8 Neumann
#9 Ogallala*

But as jonh mentioned, so many variables left to be played. Some major games left these next two weeks...

Week 8:
Adams Central at Kearney Catholic
Cozad @ Lex
Gothenburg @ Ogallala
Arlington vs Platteview (District 2 is odd)

Week 9:
Adams Central vs Cozad
Bishop Neumann vs Wayne
Chase County @ Ogallala
Gothenburg vs Ord

3. Ashland-Greenwood 9-0 45.3333
14. Boys Town 6-3 40.3333

2. Adams Central 9-0 46.3333
15. Fort Calhoun 5-4 40.0000
If that would happen, there would be four rematches from the regular season. Would be interesting.

-Kearney Catholic vs Aurora (Aurora won 45-10 in week 2)
-Pierce vs Wayne (Pierce won 42-0 in week 5)
-Ord vs Gothenburg (play week 9)
-Ashland-Greenwood vs Boys Town (AG won 46-14 in week 4)

Man I really want Wahoo and Pierce to be on opposite sides of the bracket.
