When can moving up in the RPI bite you?
If what I posted ends up being the actual bracket by moving up Mtn Heritage in the projection before last night's games went from 18 to 17 from playing MIC 2hrs 7min drive to South Stokes 3hrs 8 min and if they go to the second round went from playing Andrews 2hrs 19 min to ER 3hrs 28 min.

I don't think that would have ever happened but thank you for trying to find out
I started to do the same thing with the East as the West but last year they had serval more to opt-out so I wasn't sure who to give byes one thing for sure we know one team in the East who won't have to play next week. Looks like Tarboro will play the winner of 16 North Duplin vs 17 Southeast Halifax.
While I assume they have to give schools to certain time today to declare if they will officially opt-out but it seems once the RPI became official that it's would be simple to post at least a preliminary bracket then update and make official once time expires to opt-out.

By the looks of them, we need some new ones! They could have carried them off and threw them in the river lol
Bet me to it lol ... Right before they came out might have held it up on the official RPI they had this message....

There was a few changes on the official one they started some changes @ 1:30 due to miss-reporting but I don't know if was that or I just miss up. But I made the edit.

Well who’s fault was that? Can’t threaten to tear down the home team’s goal posts and then get butt hurt when you aren’t allowed on the field afterwards. Just saying.
Not sure who would have been saying it but y'all ain't Alabama!! I'm sure some fans was talking trash and maybe saying stuff on social media but if you where at the game you would have seen that the players and coaches expected no other result than what it was last night. No goal post was torn down in Andrews last year when they broke the streak while we where the underdogs why should we have done it this year knowing we where the favorites. Maybe they should have been more worried about keeping your head coach off the field embarrassing himself and not worried about the CATS!!
You’re right…Murphy ain’t Alabama, but neither is Andrews. Maybe act like you’ve been there before and appreciate this once in a generation senior class? Lots of respect to your players and coaches.
Never said we where. If you where there you saw nothing but sportsmanship from our players. Didn't go crazy celebrating. Spent very few minutes on the field because they wanted to get to their parents. All I'm saying is why ruin a good thing for families because a few people said something. I assure you that the Andrews coaches wouldn't have let anything go down and neither would our fans

I was there and you’re absolutely right about your players. I 100% hope they win it all because they are clearly the best team in the SMC and because they deserve it. I just hate it when a small faction of fans (and I realize that every team/school has them) ruin things for everyone by disrespecting their opponent. I can see both sides of this argument. I don’t think Murphy was being classless or trying to deny the Andrews players their celebration, I just think they were trying to avoid any potential problems that might have popped up. It’s unfortunate but it is what it is.
Do you think for one minute someone would rip down the goal posts at a SMC football game ? Have you ever seen or heard of it happening in the SMC ? Like I said, it was bullcrap and just a way of getting a dig in after losing at home. Let’s put the shoe on the other foot. What if this game would have been in Andrews and what if Murphy won and our PA announcer announced that no one was allowed on the field after realizing we were going to lose the game. It wouldn’t go over well would it !! And the comment about a few posters making it look bad, well they are not a handful of Andrews posters on here and I think we’ve been pretty darn humble all year when we could have been flapping our jaws and beating our chests after each win but we haven’t. This was for the Championship and a undefeated season. I’m sure you know how hard of a feat it is to go undefeated especially in the SMC. The Andrews fans, families and team should have been able to celebrate like every team in the history of the conference has done. It was done out of spite and poor sportsmanship
Actually, it was announced over the loud speaker BEFORE the game even started that NOBODY on either side would be allowed on the field after the game. It was NOT done as a dig and was NOT poor sportsmanship. But by all means keep on believing Murphy is the devil and the root of all problems. Also, Murphy fans on here have been nothing short of gracious and complimentary of Andrews all year. Maybe read my other posts in this thread before you come at me with your fangs out!
No fangs out just stating my opinion on what we felt. I stand by my statement wholeheartedly as you do yours. And trust me last night I was more than butt hurt but it’s over and I will move on. A man has to stand up for things he feels is wrong.
How was it “wrong” when it was announced before the game even started? It’s not like the game was decided before it started. Murphy has won a few big games in that stadium before and I’m sure they didn’t go into the game with the idea that they would lose. Apparently someone thought the goal post threat was credible enough. Lots of extra security there last night.
